My research interests lie in graphics and vision. I'm fascinated by problems in 3D rendering, reconstruction, and texturing. The core question is: how to simulate realistic scenes efficiently?
I currently work as an undergraduate research assistant at the CS XR Lab under Professor Voicu Popescu. My research focuses on managing complex environments on thin-clients (like VR) for real-time applications through rendering optimizations. Specifically, I work on the visibility problem.
Previously, I worked with Professor Daniel Aliaga on an urban fire risk management tool, the results of which led to a successful NSF FIRE funding proposal. Before that, as a researcher at the IDEAS Lab, I conducted research in machine learning -- culminating in the Purdue Spring 2024 Undergraduate Research award.
I have enjoyed a variety of (graduate) courses at Purdue. Some favorites include computer graphics, computer vision, randomized algorithms, group theory, analysis, and operating systems. I've served as a teaching assistant for C, Systems, and Algorithms. For two summers, I developed and distributed course material (homeworks, solutions, test modules) for C and Systems. I love interacting with students.
In my free time, you will catch me making dosas with my friends, playing badminton, swimming, running, climbing, or sketching away. I co-founded the Dosa Club at Purdue.
